Our church’s mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to promote the spiritual growth of its members through biblical teaching, prayer, and the work of the Holy Spirit. We firmly believe in the Bible as the Word of God, in salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, in baptism in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues, and in holiness as a lifestyle. Our church also upholds the importance of the second coming of Christ, the power of prayer, and the commitment to serving the community as a practical expression of God’s love.
We are a church located in Jacksonville, North Carolina. Our pastors Ivan Miranda and Zaida Miranda have been pastoring since 2003. In which the lord has directed them in teaching his word and has helped to grow spiritually stronger throughout the years. Our church is a missionary Church that gives back to the community through food drives. As well as planned trips to other places to do the Lord's work in praying for those in need, giving away clothes, or food. Also, visiting brothers and sisters who may be sick and praying for healing in Jesus' name. Through missionary trips, the church helps spread the gospel not only by preaching the Lord's word but showing faith by works.

Iglesia de Dios Pentecostal is a Pentecostal church, meaning we believe in the Trinity, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Also share the belief that Christ is the son of god and how he died on the cross for everyone's sin and was resurrected three days later. Most of our beliefs follow Christianity, but there are some differences between other denominations.
Pentecostal churches believe in the baptism of the holy spirit as spoken of in the book of Acts. Which is where the word Pentecostal derives from Pentecost, the name of the event in which the lord had baptized the apostles in the holy spirit, as written in the book of Acts.
As such, we believe that spiritual gifts, such as speaking in tongues (glossolalia), prophecy, and healing, are still active today and distributed by the Holy Spirit to all believers. Our Church is associated with MI, otherwise known as the Pentecostal International movement. They are in charge of maintaining the coordination of the administrative structures of the Pentecostal Churchs of God International.
